The Punjab government has initiated a new program involving mobile license vans aimed at significantly simplifying the process of obtaining and renewing driving licenses for its residents. Officials confirmed that these specially equipped mobile police stations and licensing vans will eliminate the need for citizens to travel to fixed offices. Furthermore, DIG Traffic Muhammad Waqas Nazir highlighted that the vans will specifically target womenâs colleges and universities to boost female accessibility. Initially, 33 vans are deployed, with plans to expand the fleet to 118, including seven pink vans exclusively for women.
