Effective October 1, 2025, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has mandated a price increase for Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) supplied to consumers serviced by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL). This decision stems from a marginal escalation in the global costs associated with importing LNG, which OGRA is reflecting through adjustments to the Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) price component. For SNGPL, the transmission price is now $11.4381 per mmBtu (up 1.79%), and the distribution price is $12.2300 per mmBtu (up 1.81%). Similarly, SSGCL consumers face higher rates, with transmission set at $10.0585 per mmBtu and distribution at $11.2304 per mmBtu, marking increases of nearly 2.00% over September's figures. Overall, the hike ranges between 1.8% and 2% across the affected consumer bases.
